Virginia RFC have won Ulster Titles in recent years in both female and male competitions while Virginia FC have competed strongly in North Eastern leagues in soccer.
East Cavan Eagles have had tremendous success in underage basketball, particularly in girls’ competitions, feeding well into Virginia College’s teams, who have won more than one All Ireland Basketball competition in the past 5 years.
Virginia Golf Club is situated beside the Virginia Park Lodge with breathtaking views of Lough Ramor, particularly on the 8th Fairway during the summer. The club is very active with well-attended internal and external competitions.
The Virginia Cycling & Triathlon meet on a regular basis and are the leading club in their field in this region, while Virginia’s Fishing Club along with the Virginia Ramblers provide an accessible sporting outlet for all ages and abilities.
